This crew is funny -- I especially appreciate that they created a fun activity without picking on other houseguests. Their sock show was similar - they're
definitely a bit more creative than the last few hamster groups have been.

Very funny stuff, although if you were watching on Showtime 2, those insufferable commercials featuring Showtime commercials interrupted for about 4 minutes
before the houseguests finished. Premium cable claims to NOT have advertisers, but when they play commercials for their own stuff, it is just as interrupting.
I do appreciate the fact that the hamsters can put aside their suspicions, alliances and petty bickering to come together and fight boredom. What would they have done without Renne's seemingly unending supply of wigs, glitter tops and silly hats? Perhaps it was the idea of dressing up in her odd wardrobe that inspired this little exercise. By the way, anyone watching Showtime for the really uncensored stuff got a brief unblurred view of April's "Brittney" when she sat down in that mini-mini dress. She announced on day one that she never wore underwear...and now we know she is not a liar...Apparently she and Ollie "hooked up" in the most intimate way after Big Brother After Dark had gone off the air, and the houseguests were mostly in bed, although I am just taking the word of the voyeurs who apparently never sleep when the live feeds are going. |

Youtubes has a video of Ollie and April (under cover) doing the deed. Ding bats did it w/out a condom (you could April tell him to "pull out") so
they may be trying for the first BB baby! Guess they aren't quite as smart as I gave them credit for.

OK this sucks,I have Dish TV and the channel that BB is on is no longer part of Direct TV. Looks like a fun crew.

So do you have Dish TV... or DirectTV?
Either way, Showtime (including Showtime Too) is available but of course you have to pay for the most expensive package to get it... |

What happened? Did you lose your local channels somehow? We have DirecTV but we have local channels, so our CBS is there. However, I know my FIL would have
to have a second dish or something because of where they live...is that the case with you?
The good news - full episodes are available online at the CBS website. |

Yes our local channel 13 wanted to much money and would have increase ourr Dish bill by hundreds of dollars. So now no CBS. No I don't have showtime
either.

That stinks! We get all major networks for free. How can a "free" (i.e. antenna) channel CHARGE for it?

wow hundreds of dollers more

The local broadcast of Channel 13 remains free through the airwaves, but that local station obviously wants more money from the satellite provider to carry
their signal. This is their right, as the FCC has given them an exclusive right to produce programming and all programs that are broadcast by that channel
(including network (CBS) programs) are considered their property. Thus it is illegal for a cable or satellite provider company to CHARGE money to resell their
programming without properly compensating the local channel.
If a receiver is located too far from a local transmitter to get any signal, then the FCC will allow DirecTV or Dish TV to provide another channel that carries the missing network programs, so some folks in very remote areas watch their CBS, NBC, ABC, etc from New York or Los Angeles stations. But this is very limited because the FCC will not allow competing channels from NY or LA when it is possible to receive the local channel for free via an antenna. This is important because CBS wants you to see the local commercials they depend on for existence, and not some ad for a car dealer or restaurant in Chicago., But if you are located close enough to the transmitter (Columbia) to get a signal using an antenna, then you can put up antenna and while the signal might not be perfect (or even good), the broadcast signal continues to be free through the airwaves. Unless/until Channel 13 has a change of heart, LFR only has 3 choices: Pay through the nose to add the needed channels, put up a strong antenna and watch the free stuff, or do without. I do have one question. Is Channel 13 the only holdout? Are the NBC and ABC/FOX stations available on the satellite? |

Yes channel 13 is the only holdout. We live so far away that an antenna will not pick up in this area unless it is on a is really tall so the expense is not
worth it so I am doing without.
