Renny as HOH |
Lead | |
|
We were very happy to see Renny get HOH last night. She has been so much fun to watch, and I don't think we could have taken another week of Jessie's
old alliance in power.

Renny is great fun to watch...but by not nominating April and OLLIE together, she left open the possibility that April might escape. Indeed, it could have
happened as BOTH April and Ollie were playing for POV. When Keesha, Memphis, and Dan realized that if Ollie would win, and take April off of "the
block", Renny would have to nominate one of them. This would take away a vote to eliminate April and give April her vote back, which she could use
against them. They are also very suspicious of the curious friendship that Renny seems to have struck up with Ollie all of a sudden...
Renny's choice has sowed serious distrust issues in her alliance. They still like her, and the alliance has not broken, but several of her "friends" have started to have serious doubts about Renny and her choices in the game. It looks very bad for Miss Skank now as Dan has won the POV and I suspect he will allow Renny's nominations to stand. |

If Miss Shank leaves they will lose half their audience. Granted with the Olympics that might just be the three on this board but they need every voyeur they
can get.
Actually I like Renny, as she seems to be the only one in the House that knows how to play this game and the other HGs. |

... I like Renny, as she seems to be the only one in the House that knows how to play this game ...I'm not so sure that Renny knows what she is doing. She entirely too paranoid and suspicious of everyone. As soon as anyone is spotted talking to the "wrong person", Renny is immediately ready to think they are plotting against her. And sometimes they are... But she seemed clueless when it came to nominating "pawns". She was actually a little offended, I think, when none of her "alliance" would volunteer to be a pawn. Memphis (or Keesha) told her..."Pawns always go home". and Renny was very surprised that such a thing could happen. If you have one certain person that you want to eliminate--as Renny wants to send April out the door--it is pure foolishness to nominate one of your own people as that removes one of your votes against the target. Ollie should have been nominated with April because that eliminates a certain vote for April to stay. If Ollie had won POV and removed April, then Renny would have had to put up Memphis or Michelle and April/Ollie would have already been two votes against that person. Only one more would be needed and stranger things have happened frequently in the BB house. Renny seems determined to avoid making enemies, so she left Ollie alone, thinking that she can be friends with Ollie later, but Mr. Shomance will be out to avenge his blue-eyed blondie and Renny will surely be a target for him. What Renny does not realize is that if she were to nominate Memphis to replace April (if saved by POV) and April and Ollie could persuade Dan to join them in eliminating Memphis, then Renny would surely lose the support of her closest ally, Keesha and probably Michelle also. Renny thinks she is a good judge of character, and she might be, but she is too timid. She needed to realize that the bold move, and the correct one, was to nominate both Ollie and April and let the chips fall where they may. |

Does anyone understand Michelle's plan?
She whispers gameplay with Memphis and would appear to have a secret alliance with him. This is only natural since they are the last two standing from the Jesse/Angee/Memphis/Michelle group that was alienated from the others... But Memphis feels that it is VERY IMPORTANT to his game to band with Dan and Keesha to eliminate April, while Michelle furiously works to save April and get rid of Jerry. It's just too confusing! But this is the time in every season's game that I start to go crazy watching them. I try to impose my own notions of logical thought and rational behavior on the hamsters, and they never fail disappoint me. I know it's only a tv show--and a very stupid one at that--but I find myself yelling at my tv (or computer screen) "Don't you get it!? Why did you make that stupid move???? I don't get that upset with outrageous houseguests (Joshua-Evel Dick-Howie) that try to win by intimidation and bold behavior or even with the delusional or slightly unbalanced (Amber-Natalie-Jameka) who convince themselves that God is personally directing their gameplay. I find that crazy behavior highly entertaining to watch. This season the most delusional hamster is April, and while I would not want to spend time with her personally, she has been fun to watch (and I'm not talking about the sex). She is cute, but she has a very expressive face, and when she is pissed--you KNOW that she is PIIIIIISSSED! I always enjoy watching those houseguests who convince themselves that they are America's favorite and they dream of Life After Big Brother when they will be a big celebrity. I am sure that April has been dreaming of how she will deal with the throngs of papparazzi who will clamor for her attention. What a ditz! I don't like April, but the show will be less fun to watch without her. However, I get most upset with Renny. She made her nominations of April and Jerry to avoid making more enemies than necessary. She protected Ollie and even told her alliance that she would not nominate Ollie because "I like Ollie". Renny is a very stubborn lady and when every member of her alliance group tried to persuade her to nominate both partners in the showmance, she got her back up and stated "Nobody tells ME what to do! I do what I want!!!!" That might be fine and good, but while trying to stay on Ollie's good side she has sown seeds of suspicion and mistrust in Dan and Memphis. Even her BFF Keesha has started to distance herself from the crazy New Orleans woman. It seems to me that Jerry has been the biggest beneficiary of Renny's mistrust of her alliance mates. Memphis still hates the ole man, but Dan is much more rational and has learned to co-exist with Jerry and Jerry has told Dan that if April leaves, he will be very loyal to anyone who helped save him. Keesha gets along well enough with Jerry to tolerate him and that might drive a wedge between her and Renny. Only time will tell, but I can see a possible re-alignment in the house, with Michelle and Renny joining with their pal Ollie, while Dan, Memphis and Keesha join with Jerry. |

I think it's getting very interesting! Memphis has promised at least 2-3 people F2 w/him, and I can see alliances becoming very fluid this week depending
on who the HOH is. IMHO, the game is more fun to watch when the hamsters DO get along - because it makes it harder to figure out where alliances will fall
after each eviction. When it's two teams battling it out, there isn't as much suspense.

to see Jerry nominate Renny this week. Even tho she got April out, I don't think the colonel holds it against her. Oddly enough, he doesn't see how
much she truly dislikes him. Heck, even April wasn't mad at Renny and Renny is the one who put her up. She blames Keesha for everything. This year, so far
anyway, I can take anyone winning except the colonel. But my vote is for Renny at this point.

Infidel is right about how bad it is in that house. Did you see Keesha during the HoH competition (which Jerry was twice in a position to win)? If I'd been
a medic on hand I would've pulled her out of the competition and given her some tranquilizers or sedatives; she appeared to be on the verge of a nervous
breakdown.
My thinking from here on out is that the strong will eliminate the weak (physically; they've all been decent game players IMHO). Jerry and Renny will go, because no one would win against either of them (especially Jerry). A Renny HoH would be entertaining, however, so let's hope for that! |
