Not only that but this whole coup d'etat and Michele winning HoH cascaded into another houseguest (I won't spoil it) leaving the show last night. This isn't one of the more likable houseguests but I'm sad she quit rather than work out her problems.

My take on Jeff was that he is kind of unwitting but he did decide to play the game in a certain way and it paid off. One of his principles is that he refuses to kiss *** to whomever the current HoH is. This vexed Jessie to no end since Jessie (and Ronnie) liked to get people tangled up in agreements and then when they break them, he uses the other houseguests to ostracize and turn the house against the guest when it comes time to put them up. However Jessie's plan backfired. Jeff said over the feeds that Jessie had approached him with a "Final Four" proposal (Jessie, Jeff, Nat, Jordan) and then when he put Jordan up on the block he came back and acted like he never said Final Four but Final Three. Where other houseguests would have gone along with this revisionist approach to gameplay. Jeff just nodded his head and said okay but remembered it. It appears to have contributed to his reasoning for targeting Jessie and secondarily Natalie. Anyway, I don't know of anyone else in recent BB history taking this strategy of going under the radar by "hiding in plain sight" (i.e. saying that he is the worst BB player ever because of his rocky first three weeks) and not kissing HoH butt while building a strong alliance of two with Jordan (and he tried to bring Casey/Braden/Laura into that, I believe). The other side thought he wasn't "playing the game" but he was is just playing it differently than they think it should be played. Anyway, interesting approach. Let's see how he handles the rapidly approaching endgame.
